I'm sure it's not a matter of your time, since it would probably take you less time to simply have the tires re-mounted correctly than you have already spent arguing with those who have recommended that you do so.
As you can see, I already stated half way through this thread that I would be taking the tires in and having them flipped back to the factory recommendations...

I'm not being stubborn.... I am just looking for an answer and the only info I'm getting is technical feedback or very vague comments like "I can tell you that it IS important to have them mounted properly" I understand from what you (NSXTASY) said and what my own research stated as to why the tire is designed that way.... However a few have stated that it's dangerous but nobody has anything to say beyond that.
Yet, I'm getting replies from people who have driven with their tires flipped and have not had any problems.... So you see where I'm coming from??? It's not about my tires anymore...I'll have them flipped this weekend. It's about people standing behind their comments with information to back them up.
MYF16 chimmed in with a response based on experience! That's helpful.
I don't mind hearing opinions on the topic, however a bit of information as to why you think a certain way is more helpful to me then "Why take a risk when the most important part between you and the road are the tires".
Like I said before, I'm not the type of person who accepts "that's just the way it is", until I've heard enough to draw my own conclusion. If that's stubborness....then I'm guilty
