Tire size and brand recommendation for 19X10.5 wheel?

Hmmmm I don't know I'll have to dig that up! Those were the first set of wheels I ever bought, it's crazy to look back at now. I still love the way 275/35 looks but the problem is that the front sidewall height didn't match and looked quite different, it was 225/35/18 and I remember because I haven't run that size since (it tore up my fender liners). When I do the DF fenders though I will run wider tires and beef up the rears perhaps. I think I really wanted 275/35 rears because I was fed up with really low profile tires. In fact I may be using this exact size on some other 19s I am considering for another car (downsizing from 20").

Please do!

225/40-18 with a 265 to 295/35-19 work with TCS and visually match the side wall sizes. Yes you'll probably need DF fenders and an different inner fender liner (I think I have a easy solution) but I believe this is the package for the future to get the best tires that are on the market and offer better ride quality and performance than a 30 series rear sidewall.

I'll try to look up the offset later for you. I think 225/40/18 front is problematic though, I recommended it to a friend for his Widebody because it was only about 1/2" taller but he bought it and tried it- and couldn't turn the wheel because it hit the back of the headlight buckets on his 02 conversion. He had no fender liners either bc he has a Cantrell wb so I'm afraid we are SOL on that front (no pun intended). It's a damn shame too because the tires i suggested were the Michelin Pilot Super Sport and if that size had worked... Oh man.

That's good news. I'll ask him to post in there about the offset or I'll look back through my research and find it. If it works that is great news and if it works well with df fenders that will make my day. I'll keep an eye on that thread so I can see what offset you use when you get them!

You can stay tuned on Project NSX:

The most recent installment put on 17x8 235/40-17 18x9.5 275/35-18 Volk CE28s and NT05s, however the new brakes are going to require different wheels and since the car is tracked, tire availability drive sizes, and (and wheels to clear the bbk) are driving everything else.

I'm still confident the future track tires for NSXs will be 18/18 and 18/19 setups and if the compromises are DF fenders and custom fender liners, i'm okay with that.

I know i'll be paving the way since no one has tried this combination (but people have tried either the front or rear with an imbalanced other half and ride heights), so we will see. I don't think sticking with mediocre tires in sizes that fit is an option for me or others.
