Without a new one to compair against, is there any way to determine if an old/removed timing belt was stretched? I'm thinking of squashing it flat on concrete and measuring overall length (or length of a section of x-number of teeth) very precisely (kind of like when inspecting bicycle chains for length/stretch).
Larry,
Can we get a couple pictures of this belt (3 views: back/outside of belt, inside of belt, side of belt like cross-section)? The closer the better (just a few teeth, assuming camera can focus this close).
