Time it takes for ECU to "relearn"??

I replaced my Dinan ECU w/ a stock ecu in a 92 NSX. The car is now misfiring slightly. It is driveable but it's "sputtering/misfiring" at both idle and light acceleration.

BTW, the car also has a CTSC/headers/exhaust/intake. I spoke to CTech...they actually suggested going back to the stock ecu from the Dinan.

I drove the car about 5 miles gently...still misfiring. How long does it take for the ecu to "learn"?

TIA

Jeff

You can try to reset the ECM by pulling the negative battery cable or by removing the ECM fuse. Start up the car, and let the car idle for ~5 minutes.

Thanks for the reply. I forgot that I did remove the neg. battery cable and let it idle for 15 minutes....then drove it 5 miles. I started it again today...no misifiring at idle and with 3k rpm free revs. I didn't drive it again though.

Just did the timing belt service after 10 years. The engine is sputtering a bit. Where is the ECM fuse located?

Front Fuse Box under hood, on passenger side, the only 7.5 amp fuse. (I recall it is the "clock" fuse, you can check in the online service manual)
