So, I park in an underground garage, in the same spot, every time I drive t work. Today, I thought the car gods blessed me and showed me the best spot in the house. I availed myself of the spot and was so damn proud, I just skipped to work (okay, not really, but you get the idea.) You know where this is going, right?
I go to collect my car and ... wait, where did it go?
I look at the spot, do a full 360 and then see the sign, "Reserved." Oh. Stinking. Crap. Mother. Humping. Bad. Move.
I call the towing company. No record. I call the police and advise my baby has been taken. No, I did not recall my plate. Was told to call back when I knew it. Frustrated but thoughts began to wander to things like, "...how do I explain this to the insurance company?" I walked the floor of the garage and there in the corner, away from all other cars, settled across two spots and between two HUGE concrete pillars (i.e. no other car able to park next to me) was the car. I damn near sprinted to it. I was so glad they didn't tow it. They had moved it across the garage and into a spot that left no way to get a ding. I wanted to call the towing company to thank them for not towing and hitting me with the massive fees of $265.
Yeah, I cranked her up and got the heck out of dodge. And, counted my lucky stars that they did not damage, charged no fees.
