Well, I have been trying to sell my NSX on this and other boards and have been unsuccessful. Much interest but no serious buyers. Which is leading me to believe maybe I am suppose to keep her. I am thinking of making the car into an immac. daily driver. I got rid of my IS300 so I am driving the NSX now. First question for you guys.

1. Should I paint it? The paint is all original? I am thinking of painting the problem areas and leaving the major panels original such as the rear quarters, doors, and trunk hatch.

2. How do I get the underside of the car spotless??

3. Should I do a carbon fiber dash kit to cover uo the chips in the plastic coating on the center console??

Thanks,

Jason

The most common reason for inability to sell is an asking price that is out of line with the market and the condition of the car.

You are also in a location where it is inconvenient to get a qualified NSX inspection. (I'm not trying to attack you, just stating the obvious, that it's tougher to sell an NSX that is located in Arkansas or North Dakota than one in San Francisco or Atlanta.)

That depends on what you mean by "problem areas". Normally, you should not paint it unless the finish has major problems.

Rent a lift and scrub it. But few people care about the underside of the car.

No, not if you care about making it easier to sell some day. Get the center console repainted like stock if it's in bad shape and you want to do something about it.

Hello...I would advise you to keep the car, but only paint it if your car is in major need of it. Keeping the original paint is a very good thing in many ways. As cars with NO paint work become more and more rare, your car will stand out as being original. Also, it is very hard to match white paint properly (your car is white as I remember). The NSX makes a great daily driver as well. My '91 NSX was my daily driver for about 4 years and was a blast to drive...often being the highlight of my day. Do it...have fun with your car. :)

i had my nsx up for sale for quite a while on prime with no luck.
when i placed it on autotrader.com i got a LOT more interest.
it sold within a week for the asking price.
