I apologise for my post, but you'd have to admit, from a Canadian standpoint it was rather funny to read!

I think since you're so close to B.C, you need to take a trip up to Canada and do some reconnaissance work. Meet some people, talk to immigration, read some local newspapers and their property ads (drink our beer and try your power shaver in our plugs :wink:) ...all time well spent.

BTW I spent 5 years living and going to school in Chicago, and was floored by how little Americans know about Canadians. My brother has dual citizenship, moved to Buffalo for the better pay (he's an M.D.), but after 5 years decided he's had enough and returned to work in Canadian hospitals. The funny thing is his home is still in Buffalo because of the real estate market crash there so now he commutes daily to work in Niagara Falls, Canada. A Canadian, living in Buffalo, commuting to Canada for work. LOL!
