Do the parts come off in order to paint a different color, or will you have to mask and paint?
The wire antenna is pretty cheap. They could have put an authentic NSX antenna (to scale) (1/10) and it may have worked perfectly :smile:
Let me know how the paint job goes. I would like one in Red to match the car in the garage.

The body comes off the chasis with a few small screws. Its all one piece so you'll need to mask it off and spray it with model paint (after scuffing and primer of course). 
I am thinking of cutting a few coils in the springs to drop the ride height. No coilovers for a ricer like me :biggrin:

OK OK OK - I'll try to buy a few more so I have for all you guys - I'm going to have to buy them online so the cost may go up a bit (shipping) but you will still get them at my cost (no markup)
also, FuryNSX gets one for sure because he's going to send me a shipping label - making it easier for me - and I did say I'm lazy!
Please choose FedEx since there's a fedex kinkos near me and I think they'll package it up for shipping for me - and I'm lazy!

What sort of battery life / run time are those that have one of these getting? I'm just mucking around in the house on carpet and with a 5hr charge, I'm only getting about 10 min run time.
(maybe I have a bum battery?)
And for those that are interested in getting one of these, I'm not sure if its been said earlier in the thread or not, but NOTE: The car as purchased from The Source does not come with the battery (7.2V 2000mAh Ni-Cd) Which was an extra $44.99 for me. (more than the car) (also needs a 9V for the remote)

To help out fellow nsx'ers in the states, i just ordered in 5 of the R/C Cars. I'm suppose to pick them up at the local store on monday. You guys can have them at cost $40 + tax + shipping. Like Red, i can't make money on fellow nsx'ers, but if you want to make a extra donation to my "wanna get a vented hood" fund, that would be appreciated :biggrin:

yes i also thought of this but it looks like you ned to cut the "piston on the shock too (the limiting factor appears to be the shaft hitting the hood)
now that these are so popular , I'm going to have to get serious!
paint job (to match my car) , volk gt-v's and a lowering job!
after that a modified motor and lithium battery!
Gonna run down to the Edmonton Bonnie Doon store this week and pick one up.
The battery pack and charger are not on sale right now so probably pick it up later since we have snow on the ground. The sales guy on the phone said its the fastest thing he's sold so far. They wrecked the in store model by taking out a wall with the car and destroying it.
They do have 3 of them all together at this store.

You guys can buy a 7.2 volt battery and charger anywhere almost, any hobby shop that sells R/C cars will have them, cheap on ebay and many other places.
I called a hobby shop here and cheapest charger is $5.99 to $60.00 and Batteries from $13.99 to $99.99 basically charge time and capacity is what u are paying for.
U do not have to buy the one at the Source for $44.99.Thought I would mention that, as the battery is more than the car at the source haha.
Now to find the right paint!
