The next Hooter Meet?

I want to make you all aware of a semi-conflicting event that I just learned about. The Sac chapter is proposing that they and the BA chapters hold their November meets together at Driving Ambition near Sac. Lunch will either be pizza or burritos. The meet at Shad's is scheduled for the Saturday before this Hooters meet, so it's not really conflicting per se, but I know that some of you will have a hard time dedicating a whole weekend to NSX-related stuff, especially on such short notice. I support this endeavor to have a joint meeting and will attend that, as well as the Hooters meet.

So, be on the lookout for an official notification of the joint chapter meets. The respective leaderships should be posting something soon.

We would like to invite the Bay Area Chapter to come up, hang out and have lunch at Driving Ambition. We know you have your Hooter's meet the next day, but we would like to extend the invitation to our meeting on Saturday.

The meeting for November will be held at Driving Ambition. Shad has generously offered his shop as the location for the meeting. I'm sure there are some cool things to see at the shop these days!

What you need to know:

Date/Day: November 15th, Saturday
Time: 10:30am for us early risers. Around 11:30am for you party animals. Lunch at 12 noon.
Location: Driving Ambition
2378 Gold River Road, Gold River, CA 95670

We will either order pizza from a local place or order burritos from a place nearby - there is an Adalberto's nearby (bring cash; though you won't need too much). The goal for this meet/lunch is to make it as casual as possible before we all get into the craziness of the holidays.

What if it rains, you ask? The meeting will still be held as planned. Please still attend - feel free to bring another car if you don't plan to bring your NSX.

ummm... i hate you all is pretty much all i have to say...there's an unwritten rule that you can not go to a place with an abnormal amount of girls with out me, because i wont be able to hit on them and make dancing music videos...

i may be extending my trip here in the philippines, so i'll probably miss this shindig

I have not been up to Sac in a while and I will attend this if a few things fall into place for me. Might have that weekend free it turns out so put me down for Shad's as a "Maybe". If it rains though I''m going to bring the s2000.

Oh if I do make it on Saturday for Shad's event then I'm a definite YES for Sunday's event as well at Hooters.

I thought I posted this here already but... well, not.

Let's meet at the restaurant at 11:00. We'll hang out (loiter) in front of the place for a while before going in but I really suggest that we get there at or even a little before 11 because they had zero interest in blocking off parking spots for us. No biggie. They open at 10 and I doubt the place will be crowded right when they open.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all there.

Since I live only 5 minutes away from Hooters, I'll do some recon tonight and let you guys know about parking.

I've been there and it's not hard to get into the lot, no issue there.

Best parking area is the parallel spots near the car wash in back but those are only available after they close at 6pm...

I'm more worried about door dings than scraping....or we can all park at Starbucks across the street which has more open spaced parking. There is a
Jamba Juice over there too. That is my suggestion.

Danny, your lip should be fine.

In terms of parking, the building right next to Hooter is available on Sunday (no one work in that building over the weekend) and that can hold at least 10 to 15 NSX. I don't see any people will park there since it is not Hooter's parking spot.
