So far nobody has questioned me about my accent... though plenty of shop workers have asked me to repeat what I'm saying. LOL. I'm having fun relating between Aussie and American names -- for example, you have "flip flops" but in australia we call them thongs. You can imagine the shopkeepers look when i said i wanted to buy "these thongs" and hand him a pair of flip-flops!

One last funny thought, the six-lane freeways are so cool here. In Australia i think the largest is a 5-lane highway in Queensland linking The Sunshine Coast with the Gold Coast. And your freeways are just like the computer game GTA:San Andrea's....without the car-jackings.

Nobody questioned you because you're at least speaking English...

Ahh, there's beautiful freeways here at times. However, the best one is 280 in the Bay Area, between San Jose and San Francisco... Highway 1 is worth a trip.

The Santa Ana's are blowin' hard right now. They're actually the worst weather L.A. has to offer. I hope they die down so your visit will be more enjoyable. I'm sure you get enough dryness and sunshine down under.

LOL.... i thought of that the whole way over. Fortunately no 29E. Instead I had an Emergency Exit seat which gave me the opportunity to meet a <B>stunningly</B> beautiful air-hostess who lives in Phoenix. Told her about NSXPO and that she should look out for NSX's.

UPDATE: Yesterday I went to the Ghetty Center... awesome view of LA and Santa Monica. Today I checked out the peterson auto museum which you guys recommended. It was very cool; i flattened my camera battery taking shots. Sadly tomorrow I leave... .... but only to MEET YOU GUYS!
