One of Koenigsegg’s facilities was damaged in a fire.
At around 2.30 pm on Saturday the 22nd of February a fire broke out in one of the Koenigsegg’s facilities. Mostly office space and office equipment was destroyed but also part of the production line.
The guy on the Gumball 3000 2003 bought one over for the race.
He had ordered one from the factory but they had a fire and he could not wait, so he found out who bought the first one and paid him a lot more than msrp for it so he could make the race.
It broke down twice durring the race.
