I replaced my rear brakes today. I have done many brakes before, I have even done the front brakes on my NSX. The rear brakes I couldn't figure out how to do. They wouldn't push in with the good old c-clamp. I was getting frustrated then decided to check the NSX Prime site. Thankfully you have the service manual posted. The rear brake pistons screw in. I have never done a set of disc brakes that screw in. Piece of cake after reading this. Thank you, for the great site!!!!

I haven't done the brakes on my NSX yet, but my Integra was the same. The shop manual resolved my frustration when the large C-clamp method wasn't productive. I'm not positive, but I think the screw method is a result of how they make the parking brakes work on a disc brake.

Holy crap man!! Thats what I've been looking for, for almost 6 months now...

No more aching hand brake changes at the track.

Or try this one from Sears. Not a Honda part, but will work on other cars as well. Just place it on your 3/8" ratchet or drill driver and crank that sucka home.

There is a small tool, box like looking, for around $9 that will do the job just fine. It is so compact and easy to use. I use it all the tim on the track. U can get it in kragen or any similar store. Just ask for a brake tool (screw in type).
