I mistaked the HSV with the HSC
The HSC looked like a Tiburon .......
Very cool engine. Is that not a V8 though for the race version?
I'm glad you showed the video. It reminded me that a front engine V10 with a very low hood line.....
Well the new Miata MX-5
Man, I swear I've that front lower valence before... *scratches head*
That's what I was going to say. It screams knock off of the NSX Concepts's front end - not just the smiling grill, but also the lower ducts, the detailing, the mirror attachments and even the fender lines above the wheels. It even has a beak of its own! Although I like the Concepts headlights, these look a little meaner. This is annoying. Talk about stealing someones thunder.... Isn't there a design patent protecting the work that Honda did?Man, I swear I've that front lower valence before... *scratches head*
I'm with Doc on this not looking exotic enough and I wish there was more of a family resemblance. I think McLaren made a better NSX 2 than Honda. If someone were to have told me this were it I'd believe them:
short front, prominent side intakes, rear wing, tail light area that spans the width of the car (sorta), exposed mid engine (I realize it didn't come this way stock except the R but a lot of us run it this way). and a minimalist interior with that same sloped dash/door arm rest
They just need to tone down that ridiculous grinning look it has from the front...
This is funny because my NSX with HKS sounds very similar to the VQ35 engine and HKS came out with the exhaust almost 20 years ago for the NSX...
I wouldn't judge until you hear the car in person. These video have been edited so much, it's hard to say what anything sounds like let alone the accuracy and quality of the speakers that you are listening to it through. Everyone has different takes and personal preferences on exhaust sound too.
The videos posted of the NSX Prototype in motion have made it more enticing though.
