Test Pipes And the O2 Sensor/ECU?

Hey All, Whats the story on putting on test pipes<cat replacement>.?
What I want to know is, is it going to throw my check engine light on and mess with the ECU? thanks

No problems for '91-'94. '95-'05 expect a CEL for poor cat efficiency, but it shouldn't cause any performance issues. On the other hand, performance benefits probably won't be noticeable either.

drilled out spark plug to move the 02 senser away more and plug and play

go to your local auto store and purchase two anti fouler plugs. Drill out the center to make it larger and walla, easy CEL fix. If you don't want to do that you can also purchase it off ebay.

I've got test pipes on my '91 with SOS headers and a Comptech Exhaust. I've had zero problems.

you only get mil (check engine light) on 95-up (obd 2) cars
