Test drove a supercharged NSX today...

Care to elaborate on this? My turbo has been on 3 years. Only issue was not turbo related and was the maf sensor in the F/IC unit.
On supercharger setups I am constantly hearing about belt issues being too tight and burnt bearings or too loose and slipping and loosing boost.

All in all at the same level HP i think both Turbo and SC are equally as reliable. (and fun!)

I was a big turbo guy, but now I am thinking CTSC is the only way to go if you want to keep your car out of the shop.

A 02+ with fewer miles than that would be low $50ks.

the current market seems to indicate otherwise. Most stock clean NA2's seem to be going for 45-50k.

But $45k is within the $45k to $50k range that you said for an NA2, which a 2000 is.

You don't get much, if any value for the sc when you sell a supercharged NSX.

I would say the only fi solution that adds value is the ctsc. But I have never tried selling a car with one.

I agree with netviper. I paid a small premium for my ctsc nsx, and I was happy to do so. But I would not have paid a premium for any other sc or turbo, and in some cases those systems lower the value of the car.

CTSC add value to this car. It is only a plus IMHO.

Agree but some people don't like mods.

I'm sure you do get some value for it but it sure isn't much compared to its cost. It will probably get your car sold sooner than a nonSCd car tho.

I think that my CTSC was about $12k all in on a group buy shipped, duty and installed. Maybe I got 20 cents on the dollar back!
