teenagers try to kill a tree with a Volvo

3 teens last night were out messing around in a Volvo.

They were driving in reverse, quite fast, in a residential neighborhood.

Stupid morons ended up losing control, and hitting a tree.

Thank goodness no person or other other property were hurt.

The teens were taken to the hospital. I hope that they will be whipped severely by their parents.

my 1st volvo was a '77 242. in '83, some nitwit driver in an olds 242 hit me partially head-on @~40 mph (no airbag in my car). i was able to walk away from the accident... and bought a replacement volvo (and 2 more as the years went by).

can't say anything about the current gen of volvo's, but the cars i had were bulletproof.

Glad nobody was seriously hurt. I remember making stupid decisions as a kid...again, I'm glad nobody got hurt when I was young either.

I wonder if the new Volvo's are as tough. That new hardtop convertible coming out from Volvo looks pretty sexy.
