Teaching manual in an NSX

Have him buy a cheap manual car if "he" really wants to learn. That's what I did when I bought my first car. Nobody would teach me so I said F**k it, went to the dealership bought the car. Asked them to leave me and the car in an empty parking lot and spent about 2 hours practicing before I hit the road.

when I sold cars (Acura, of course), a woman was buying a used car...and the only one she liked that she could afford was manual, soooo.....I actually had to teach her how to drive manual right after she bought it...then she had to drive Dallas to Austin the very next day.

I tried teaching my gf how to drive stick in my NSX, but at that time I was going to replace the clutch soon. Now it has an RPS clutch, and it took me awhile to get used to the engagement. My friend tried to drive it and stalled 5 times in a row and gave up, lol. My gf asked me to teach her again in the NSX in the summer, and I said no.

I taught my son to drive stick on my NSX... it is a very gentle and forgiving clutch.

Taught him today in an Isuzu rodeo beater I bought! He picked it up quick but glad I didn't teach him in the nsx. Over revving and clutch smell lol
