Has anyone ever purchased a large performance parts in Japan and actually carry it back to USA?
For example exhaust or racing seats.
I am thinking about ordering it in advance and pick it up in person at Taitec's distributor in Tokyo. Unfortunately Taitec at Yokohama does not sell direct.
I have to go to Japan at least once every two month, I figure might just as well make the trip a bit more fun, going again in 3 weeks.
I usually travel very light with just 1 small carry on, wonder if it will work, I have seen people carry giant size surfing board without problem.
I have seen the exhaust new with box at Autowave, the exhaust with packaging is fairly bulky, but still very light weight.
Worst case scenario, I will ship it back to myself from Japan.
