supercharged nsx vs 400hp cts-v

The chase car was damn fast too. Sounded like a blower whine when he got on it.....unless it was the car racing but I doubt it would be that loud.

The chase car did a pretty good job of keeping up...wonder what it was.

I cant get it to play, who wins?

The NSX of course. Both dyno in the 340-350rwhp range but the NSX weighs about 800-1000lbs. lighter. I think I've seen that group of cars in another vid posted here where they were accelerating in a parking area to show off the sounds of the newly installed SC's.

I was just curious. I blew away a CTS-V on the turnpike. It kept up but once I hit 5k i was pulling on him in 4 and 5:biggrin:

Hey, who said you could post that vid... Actually, it's a repost. http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59237

That was my X in the vid. The CTS-V had an aftermarket full-catback exhaust which made close to 340 WHP/350 TQ. My X dyno'd at CT with 355 WHP/255 TQ. However, the CTS-V has since had a Magnuson supercharger installed.

There may be a rematch sometime this year. Hopefully, I'll have a HP kit installed by then. :D

BTW, the chase car was a 2003 Acura CL Type-S 6MT with the full CT treatment and makes about 300 WHP/260 TQ.

Hey! I have both of those cars. Each are tons o' fun. Neither of mine have FI. I suspect that they'll stay that way to, in order to keep them from blowing up. Stock vs. stock, the V is certainly faster than the NSX, but the NSX is more fun to drive and its easier to drive fast...

Hey, I actually just met the guy that drives that CTS-V w/ the supercharger at the track yesterday. It's pretty fast, never got to see it in a straight line. I'll be getting my CTSC pretty soon, so we'll see if I find him out on the track this summer.

I crushed one of those in my M3 and the driver seemed to be seriously confused and slightly pissed...
