Supercar Run 3 - Saturday, 10/27/2012

New to the forum and unfortunately a non-NSX owner

I'll be there, I was in the 800hp blue Viper SRT-10 coupe with the white stripes and spoiler on the 2nd run and a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale on the first one and rode in the white Gallardo to the Pavilions with a few other NSXs after the 2nd one.

Hope to see some of ya'll out there!

Not mine, unfortunately! ...but it was fun as hell, especially getting on the highway. He downshifted from 4th to 3rd and gunned it and I could just feel the back end wobbling, struggling for traction.

I think I have met you, I love the wheels on your NSX, fits the car perfectly - I was with Matt, the kid who rode with you. I asked if he could ride with you because he was too chicken to ask!

I want to give a shout-out to RedWings for generously letting me use his Comptech exhaust, and nsxter for helping me install it. I've been running it on my '93 for about 3 weeks now, and it beats the stock exhaust hands down in terms of sound and appearance. Thank you buddy!

I am planning to pick up a couple of GoPros tonight, let me know if you or Mike want to mount one of them on your car for the Supercar run.

No worries bud, I don't really have a good place to store the Comptech so on your car seems like a win-win option to me :smile:

GoPro... I will probably have one on my car already so maybe Mike wants to run it or you could do a nifty second perspective shot

My general understanding of the route is ~200-250 miles

We stopped for lunch on the #2 run, that's certainly optional if time is tight

I'd plan about 4-5 hours if you have other stuff going on Saturday
(should be back in Phoenix by 1pm or 2pm w/ a 9am rollout)

Weather forecast is awesome by the way, bring a light jacket or hoodie, camera with empty card and spare batteries, water, snacks, gas money

Check your tire pressure and fluids :biggrin: Cya Saturday!

I live right by TTL, but I will be heading up a little earlier. I'll see ya'll up there!

I'm really excited. I'll be hanging out and taking some pictures of a matte white wrapped Gallardo in an hour or so, the owner drove from New Mexico on Thursday.
