Super car sunday july 31

I took more pictures than I thought too...this is going to take me awhile

Yeah I was behind the green nsx. That exhaust was nice. After a few uturns to get to stunt I realized the lead driver hadn't been there before. This was my first time driving that road in the daytime as well. So that was something new for me.

Seeing all the crazy cars going up and down the mountain was something else. After I broke off from the nsx's I was just randomly driving around up there enjoying the random exotics at every turn.

Yeah, that was me in front of you. My car is actually a custom pearl black, but it can look green depending on how light hits it. I saw you turn off after our last U-turn on PCH. :)

I knew I should have driven up Decker Canyon Road rather than drive straight home after breakfast. D'oh!

You guys went back up the canyon after breakfast? Cause i know going there from the event lmr knows where he is going. I let him lead cause i didnt have wipers so i needed to see brake lights on the turns. I will say next run we do we will stick to the times as close as possible to avoid pulling over mass amounts of cars to wait for a few. I thought a few of you were gona crash, glad no one didnt in the bs rain. What sucked, it was 96 the next day :/

You must have been in the group that got seperated from the main group because we made no u-turns.

travanx didn't joint the group for breakfast; he drove back up the canyons after we hit PCH from the canyons. The back group lost the main group at the first traffic light after all the cars were caught up, and we weren't able to catch up after that. We ultimately found the destination restaurant with a combination of directions that YellowHaze was able to get from LMR over the phone, and the help of some motorcyclists.

I took way too many pictures...don't know when I'll have time to finish processing all of them.

Yup. We were in the back and got caught at a light. Lots of U-turns after that.

We need to do a better job on these drives in keeping all of us together, particularly when there are large number of cars. The two suggestions is the use of club radios. At least one in the lead car and one at the end (the sweeper car). Of course in canyons, radios don't always work either. Perhaps a map with directions would have helped on this drive, which is a lot of work for the organizers.

Just a thought, having gotten lost myself on a drive a couple of years ago. Fortunately, I had the address of the restaurant. I interred it into my nav system and met the rest there. Some people also got lost on the Jay Leno Nuremberg drive too.

Non-the-less, my son and I had a lot of fun!!!

Thanks Les and Jayson, and all those that attended.

I agree. It was pretty funny that you and I were the only ones using our club radios...and you were in the car directly in front of me.

BTW, I've done about 65 shots thus far and am still in the Ferrari vs. Lamborghini section

Wanna thank Les and Jason for organizing a fun drive to SCS and Coogie's. What a spectacle to see the rain on all the cars on our drive to Malibu! Thanks to those who posted the videos and pictures of the day. Can't wait to see Eric's and Track Addict's sister's works of art!

great shots! What lens are you using?

Thanks. For the early morning shots and the drive from Arcadia to Woodland Hills, I was using my recently purchased Canon EF 50mm 1.4...still getting used to it. For Supercar Sunday and the subsequent drive, I stuck with my trusty Canon EF 16-35mm F2.8/L.

Love the pics f the F40. One of my favorite cars of all time.

I took nine shots of the F40...definitely one of my all time faves as well.

I only got two shots of the Zonda R...would have taken more if we had more time at the event.
