sun visor repair?

Bringing back an old topic...

The sun visors of my 91 (half-black - grey) are split but the main problem is the limited useability/visability. Any more options are out there?

- I'd like to keep the color, would only go for a different color if the visability is much improved.
- repair option? I don't care about the stickers or the mirror. The less the better.
- other options? I've read about http://www.autosunvisors.com/ Any experience with them?
