You were clear.
A kit with "T" handles ( they work so much better) and glue like this Husky kit is great to get you out of a jam until you can get the tire replaced or properly repaired. Model # HDA60000AV. They sell them at Home Depot for $7.96. keep a set of diagonal cutting pliers in the car and make sure your OEm compressor is working as well.

You can pick up these kits just about anywhere. I have used them on my NSX, my Astro van, my wife's Benz, my gardener' s pickup, my friend's 240, a stranded lady in the middle of nowhere... and so on.
DO NOT get the glue in your eyes.
Even though it is nice to do, you do not have to cut off the excess plug material... it will wear down in no time through normal driving... even quicker if the plug is in the rear tire and you drive hard... but I realize no one who drives an NSX does that... :wink:
Well my RE760 needed a plug right in the middle and it's having no issues holding 550rwhp and donuts....
The plug is probably melted flat by now.:biggrin:
