I left a bag of frozen chicken in the trunk. I am still paying for it! -- though it is better now.

NetViper,
That still makes me laugh. Sorry buddy... Is the smell of the chicken all gone? By the way, what method worked for you to get the odor to disappear?

Haven't had mine too long, but...I tried to slam the engine hatch shut a couple of times, until I figured out the proper procedure.

Well, the bowls of vinegar helped a lot. But it is still there a little. I will keep trying.

Left my aunt's house with a cherry pie on the roof. Just get on the main road and 2 girls in the car next to me signal me to roll down the window. Feeling like Joe Macho giving my best "Hey Baby" stare, I hit the button to roll down the window as I'm downshifting. The force of the downshift sends the pie sliding down the windshield and off the side of the car. We both almost crashed, me due to instinctively trying to avoid a flying pie in the face and the girls due to instinctively laughing at seeing a moron in action. Double whammy for me; looking like a moron and cherry pie road kill. (My aunt makes really good cherry pie).

Not fly for a white guy......

I made the mistake of buying everything "But" the NSX thinking I'd save $$
by spending less on numerous cars w/ mega-mods. WWW.MYNSX.COM

The stupidest thing(s) I've done to my Zanardi 50 is 1) Apply enough pressure while buffing the wax off that the foam pad was stained with a bit of the tinted clear coat, and 2) Letting it sit in the garage collecting dust and NOT driving it like I should.

I pulled into the garage when a few NSX friends came over and my wife insticntively pushed the button to shut the garage door. The 800 lb. door, being pulled sideways, scraped across the tail of the car destroying the paint. I tried to keep a stiff upper lip about the incident and backed the car into the driveway, but apparently not quite all the way. This time I shut the door and my friends and I looked in horror at the door scraping the paint off the nose of the car this time.

This all happened within about two minutes of each other. I've since divorced my wife, but I still have to live with myself after being such a dope.

ChopsJazz's story is more heartbreaking than funny... my deepest sympathy to the car.

personal question: did u divorce the wife BECAUSE of this incident? That would make this a tough story to beat.

I backed the car over our baby stroller. Fortunately, the baby was not in it at the time
smile.gif
. But it was a $250 stroller, completely ruined

. Not to mention the scratches to the car, mostly on the underside and invisible to everyone (but me!).

I divorced her for a number of reasons, although that one incident would have been grounds for divorce in most anyone's book. But hell, it was time for a newer model anyhow!
