Out of curiosity - how much labor will be required to:

- strip
- mask
- paint
- reassemble

Looks like a big job.

Even better, by doing all the work yourself, how much is this project costing you in paint and materials? (no labor) Just wanted to see how much labor is involved in the prices we receive.

Ok guys, i'll answer all of your questions best I can

ss_md: We are about to do some Vinny skirts for a customer, which will require mounting and painting. I believe his quote was $700-$800 depending on how many snags we encounter along the way

jagtiger: I am doing the paintwork myself, so 0

jlindy: My cost on the paint and materials is probably about $180.00. Its hard to say because we have it all in stock already, along with the paint mixing station.

Do you have any pics inside the door jam where the skirts are hanging ?

$180 Awesome perks of owning a shop and knowing how to do it when it costs about $5000 or so to get it done right. (is that about right?) Hopefully you can get some good sunlight shots of the pearl when it is done, but it looks awesome so far. For $180, I would paint it too and would consider opening up a shop to learn how to do it myself.
