Stripped II

After noticing NSXinBRLA's thread about his car being stripped down, I thought it might not be a bad idea to post a pic of my car in a similar state. Right now, the car is getting some work down to repair damage to it's front nose sustained on the way up to NSXPO back in October. Also, I'm getting some parts repainted in preparation for an application of a clear bra. Front wheels are also off in order to repair dents in the wheels.

I think that's just due to the reflections on that shiny paint...

I actually like to see pictures like this. Not because the car is naked But because I can only imagine who much better it will be when the job is done and everything is back together. My car would have looked exactly like yours this past week including a new left fender. Unfortunately I did not get any pictures of my cars work in progress at the shop. I get my car back tomorrow after 1 1/2 weeks

My sentiments exactly. I'm sure that if the car was looking like that under different circumstances, I might feel different. But since it's there for some "cosmetic" upgrades , I feel okay. Luckily, when I went in there to check on the status of the car, I had a small digital camera with me. (Small digicams are so cool to have. ) That was a week ago Tuesday. They said the car might be ready last Friday. Now, it looks like maybe tomorrow (Thursday) or this Friday. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Another NSX owner who has used them, X-TNSIV, warned me that they will often take much longer than they tell you, so at least I was prepared for that.
