I just bought a F + R Stoptech BBK for my track only NSX. I was tired of changing my rotors every 4 trackdays despite air ducting. And as I run A005 slicks I think I can get some benefits in term of power and consistence.

I also bought a set of XP8 pads. But as the BBK came with the stock Stoptech pads too (Axxis ?), do you think I should give them a try or directly go with the XP8 and sell the stock pads ?

I'd use track pads especially you are running slicks. you will probably melt the stock stoptech pads in a couple sessions. instructions from stoptech said to not use those pads if driven on the track, those meant for the street.

With slicks, I wonder if XP8s would even be enough. Might want to step up to XP10s..

I had no idea Stoptech didn't recommend their stock pads for the track. I, along with 3 friends, all run the stock Stoptech pads in our Stoptech BBKs and they have been great. We've all been running them for about 1.5 years now.
