I have now put a second track event on my AeroRotors. This time I was at my local track which is a real brake test - nine turns over a 1.5 mile length. That fact was amply demonstrated when an instructor came into the hot pits driving a hapless first timer's tricked out Civic with the front brakes pouring out smoke!
The AeroRotors proved themselves well up to the test. There was not a hint of fade or soft pedal despite running in the advanced run group. I have also taken off the front dustshields and replaced my Porterfield R4S pads with TechnoFrenos which no doubt helped.
So after all that am I pleased with the result? You bet. This was definitely a good modification. And the icing on the cake is that the pads are very street friendly, much more than the Porterfields.
