Sticky parts

I have a 2017 NSX.
I notice there are some plastic parts starting to have stickness similar to certain models of Ferrari. Very annoying.
Parts included the door window switches panel, the steering wheel airbag, central storage area.
U tubes shows various methods to remove.
I am wondering how you deal with this problem.
I plan to order new parts to replace as I believe it will give the best looks( surely these plastic will develop stickness in future but by then I may in the eternal void)

I used AllDiscountParts.com and got big order reasonably shipped. Many parts are on backorder.

Acurapartswarehouse where i think most of us look up parts no's has done well for me at 30% off although it can take up to a couple of weeks. My local dealer Acura Columbus will match that and have it do you in a few days - i'm sure there are many US dealers doing this - but you have to ask for a discount. NO direct NC1 experience, but after resisting folks telling me for years to "just use WD-40", i have not dulled/ruined any plastic parts (mostly household) since i started using it for that purpose! I generally follow with a VERY diluted simple green and wipe dry as i personally don't want any residue to eat-in or solidify. Certainly stay away from any solvent based product - perhaps that occurred earlier and caused the gum?

I don't have any experience with the NC1 but I have seen this problem caused by a breakdown of the plasticizers in soft touch coatings - never have found any remedy except to replace the parts, rinse, and repeat. Using hand lotion or sunscreen accelerates the deterioration but I decided that I like my hands more than my window switches.

same issue with the airbag cover on the steering wheel. it just keeps coming back
Replacing it is too expensive, used witch hazel kinda helps

Eek -rubberized finish? Over engineering alert! Why? Our fingers are so weak now - we need help with operating switches now? Of course Honda ergonomics set a standard of which we love them for, but like so many things can get out of control IMO

All any OEM cares about is moving metal out of the factory. Anything that looks and feels more luxurious in the showroom at a minimal cost is done. Their solution for customers with sticky/peeling interior pieces is to replace those parts by buying a new car.

Shame to hear that this issue there.. As the Ferrari owners have been dealing with this issue for so many years, the forums there are full of solutions, from rubbing alcohol to lemon juice to off the shelf "purpose designed" sovents. The general idea was that the sticky coating comes off as it's a layer on top of the text/images on the switch so no big deal, switch still looks the same etc. I've seen the issue on many car brands and other Japanses brands too such as Lexus.
