St. Louis Group Drive Sunday 3/12

Sat mornig early works for me I have an 11:30 with a client but anything early will leave me time to run a little and then make my meeting in St. Charles.

I must worn you all, the car is running gooooood, and I have a new set of stickies on now. Len you can ignore this next part, I would love to run someone in a basicly stock car to see how much quicker it really is than stock. Seat of the pants says four to five cars in the quarter, but you never know it could be less. On second thaught we should line Len up as well and see what the turbo does against CTSC and stock.

Anyway just pick the spot, somewhere in St. Charles or Westport area would be best for me but I will deal with whatever you guys decide.

Dave[/quote

Please, you all are beneath me... I wouldn't waste my 104 octane racing a CTSC.

Dave I just saw a silver and black top a couple of hours or so ago on Manchester, was that you?
I only caught it from the side, but ut looked like it may have 02 lights.. I was officiating Tech inspections at Reid Vann's shop..

Okay I will only run 6lbs of boost like last time so you guys can keep up. Wait last time I only ran 5lbs.
We shall see what Saturday brings, I really need to get the BBK and sway bars on this thing before the track event.
I can't believe you want to crawl into the ring with ALI....

My desire to be beat by a Turbo was only for sceintific purposes only, I would like to view real world how much faster 150hp makes an NSX. You really hurt my fealings Len with that beneath me crap. You may be 1 step higher on the ladder but that still means I am higher then the rest of these suckers with stock cars. If we are setting up a hiarchy, give a guy some props for trying. To all you stock guys, your cool too.

Enough with the pansy talk, where are we meeting?

If we are meeting to BS, then 9:00 AM Saturday morning at Ihop or Denny's is ok with me.

But if we are going to RUN then:

I vote for West Port McDonalds at 7:00AM Saturday Morning, we Cruse at 7:30AM. for those of you going out Friday night you better set your alarms or have your momma wake you. Oh, and It will be chilly out in the AM.

I really am sorry, I do not know what got into me, must be the GFCP thing.

Dave

Love to join U but I am stuck with a family event in S. County+ I have a check engine light that keeps coming on, a worn out clutch, bald rears, blah, blah, blah.... :frown:  Hey Dave, what happened to this guy you were going to bring in to get him to work on our cars?? I think his name was farmboy or barnyard or some other farmy name. I'm ready for him!

So is McD's the in Westport going to be the place?? If I can get my alarm clock set to go off that early I'll come.

My car is a "work in progress" so please don't laugh too hard at me. I might be a good run for you Dave if you're lookin to run a near stock car. I only have little mods. My exhaust, intake, and ECU. So nothing big really. Plus with my clutch slipping (yay) that takes me down a notch.

His name is "Barnman" on Prime, based in Indy I believe, he was my last hope before I decided to do all the work myself. After trying for months to make it work out to bring someone in I just said screw it and did it myself, I am glad I did, I learned alot and as picky as I am I think the job turned out better. (must give a that-a-boy to my friends at PUR performance for the use of the rack and the patience as we waited for parts, THANK YOU KEVIN) I would love to setup a general maintenance day for everyone, most of the work I can do like: brakes, shocks, springs, sway bars, Bose stereo repair, window regulator repair, hoses, radiator, fluids, ABS, tires, Comptech SC installs, but if we need to open a Trans or Engine that work we should bring in someone with more time and knowledge. The folks at PUR are willing to work out whatever we need, rack space if we bring someone in, allingment work, wheel & tire changes, what ever we need. Oh just so you all know, Kevin at PUR just got in the latest Corgchi Tire machine, can do upto 26" rims and it never touches the rim, amazing machine, also their newest ballancer as well.

Commercial over,

Dave

You still using the bottle or just the nipple, How many times you filled that bottle, I would love to see a five way drag race, stock, IHE, CTSC, NOS, TURBO, where can we find a road wide enough.

His race season started a few weeks ago. I don't know if he has a race this weekend, but I bet he's pleanty busy getting his race cars up to where he wants them. And I think that has left little time for messing with his NSXes.

i was trying to post at work but couldn't log on. I might come by to say hi. But a drive is out for me.

Don't sweat it, you have a great excuse, It's not like you live within 20 minutes.
This is for those "Why don't we ever get together Guys" that live right here. Those that are too attached to their down filled pillows.

No can do here, I am on the track this weekend.
If not on the track, that means my car is still in pieces.
I would bring the back up, but it will be in pieces as well.

Randy, just to let you know, Flyeyes could pass for your twin.
I thought he was you the last time we all met up.
Also you know some of these guys need to ask for a kitchen pass
before they can get out and a few days notice will not get that done.

Have fun.
