SRS light on

My 1991 with 26,000 miles has the SRS light on the dash. Any way to disconnect this light? Had it at the Acura dealer and they wouldn't turn it off due to liability issues. Can I unplug a fuse or cross or disconnect a wire to shut this light off?

Have you installed a aftermarket steering wheel or harnesses?

If your after a bodge you could just remove the bulb.

I know that mine came on after a car wash. From what I read you have to take the SRS computer out and check it, however I do not know a way to just disconnect the light or jump it.

The car is stock. The dealer said they don't even have the equipment to test where the issue originates from anymore since the car is so old. This car is going to be seeing limited use by me and I'd like to get the light off. How hard would it be to get at the light itself and pull the bulb?
