hi guys,
my targa top is making squeeky noises. i checked the source and it seems to be coming from the junction between the locking assembly and the targa sheetmetal on the driver side. obvoiusly i checked the bolts and connections- all tight but i can tell it was previously disassembled or adjusted on that side. i also tried to use some thin rubber to isolate it but to no avail. the rubber seals are not the issue but i also treated them with silikone.

has anyone had that problem in the past? any cures? i might be forced to find a top that was not taken apart. does anyone make a carbon replacement?

I've had my locking mechanism adjusted and the rubber regreased, seamed to work.

did that- no change.
the noise seems to be coming from the junction of the outside rail and the top itself. the only real solution may be dissasembly and re-glue.
