Speed USA event pics!!

Do you have any more pics or info. similar to or regarding picture #6, above?

The Sebring Silver car is running OZ Superleggera wheels, and I would love to see some more pics of that combination. I have yet to see them on a silver car.

How much actual tracktime?

Hi Folks,

How much actual track time did you guys get with Spedtrial?

The website lists 4 or 5, 20 minute sessions that's either 1:20 or 1:40 worth of tracktime, not bad given the low price, but other organizations give you a bit more tracktime.

Are the sessions timed? What kind of timing do they use? Hot Lap? or using transponders?

2slow2speed, Jimbox could better answer your questions, he organized the event for us. All NSX pretty much ran in two groups. We ran one session lead and follow slow, 4 laps;one lead and follow at good speed, 6 laps. Ran a few 2x2 and rolling starts and the rest was wide open. I'd guess I ran 30+ laps. We ran enough where several said NO MAS!

Hi Gil,

Thanks for the info, I sent a PM to Calvin, but did not hear anything back from him.

I'm a bit spoiled these days, since I usually get 2+ hours on most of the track events that I participate in, and I've been known to do many 2 day events ;). So I would be happier having 1:40 worth of tracktime instead of just 1:20 per day.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it down to Buttonwillow on Feb, it would be nice to run with some of you Southern CA NSX folks.

The only drawback is that depending on the weather Buttonwillow can remain fogged out for quite a long time in the Wintertime. I recall hearing about an event last winter where the track remained fogged out past noontime :(.

Did someone mentioned my name? sorry 2slow2speed, until this day....I still haven't gotten your PM--so far, I have been returning 100% of my emails and PM.

Gil, thanks for the blue..............lunch is on me next time. Talking about blue, evil thought is infesting my mind now. Are you pondering what I am pondering? hmmmmmm

Jimmy, ahhhhhem......bigger picture please...you are making my car smaller than it actually is... :D

Calvin,

Oops, my bad I'm confused between you Calvin (poohbear) and Jimmy (Jimbox).

I sent a PM to Jimbox asking more details about the amount of actual tracktime at Spedtrial events.

WOW!! Very Nice!!! I am looking at the hi-res photos right now with my jaw dropped :)

I came home with mud/dirt caked on my right front wheel, and I was wondering how it got there. As when I spun out, I figured there is only pebbles and no mud. It finally made sense now, I can't believe you caught it on camera,
