I have a single disc spec clutch that includes a lightweight flywheel on my 93. At this point, I think I might have a broken or bent spring.

I would like to KEEP the lightweight spec flywheel since it works fine. What I have is a new 97+ OEM pressure plate sitting around.

Can I use this set up with a new oem disc or other new aftermarket single disc?

apparently through my own research, I can't use the oem 97+ friction disc because it lacks springs, and my spec flywheel is not dual mass.

Would there be anything that would prevent me from utilizing an aftermarket friction disc with my single disc spec flywheel and new oem 97+ pressure plate?

I think only Spec can answer your question since you will need to know if their pressure plate and disc are made to OEM specs as far as offset and diameter are concerned, put it this way - if their disc can be substituted for the stock one, and if their pressure plate could also be used in place of the stock one.

I kind of doubt it since most of the NSX single disc stuff I have seen is made from some other applications' parts and pieces.
