First off, I want to thank Chris at SOS for a very quick response. We had a problem with a fitting as the 2000 has different EGR piping and Chris overnighted a new fitting to fix the problem.
I have gone through 2 OEM senders because I track the car often and the high vibration causes premature failure or in the case of the second sender, erratic readings at extended high RPMs. It would consistently drop to zero as I was going down the straight at 120+ mph at over 7k rpms which is not what you want to see, even with an Accusump. Kind of unnerving, even though I knew it was the sender and not my actual oil pressure - or was it? See what I mean?
With the new SOS remote sender - the pressure was rock solid the entire day at the track. At no time did it wig out like my OEM senders use to do when in VTEC for extended periods - ie hauling down the straights.
Thanks Chris & SOS, it's nice to look down and see that oil pressure gauge right where it's suppose to be.
