SOS introduces K Tuner Flash for NC1 NSX Including the Type S (2017-2022)

Do you need DPs to run the Stage 2 tune or is it sufficient to just be running 100 oct? I know I wouldn't get the full benefit but just curious and wanted to test out the stage 2 tune.

You do not need down pipes to run stage 1or2, but you wouldn't be getting the full bang for buck unless you do HD Down Pipes as well.

4 weeks later running e40 vs 100 octane …e40 is keeping intake 20 to 30 degrees cooler running hard …normal driving 30 degrees plus cooler ..you have the high end jb4 98 octane with the down low power k tuner …my brother has eray vette …on stage 1 he can stick with me …stage 2 it’s bye bye …currently I have plaid , gtr and don’t laugh modified karma revro gts ..beta performance package 900tq 700hp …the Nsx is the funniest to drive …karma , gtr and plaid is Just so darn boring now that it just sits …hate to sound cliche …but this is how the car should have came ….great work sos and ktuner…both very helpful during the whole process …fyi for sanity and being paranoid …I live by a Sunoco that has every octane created ..i run 1 gallon of race fuel also … like m4 …this setup doesn’t need bigger injectors or fuel pump nor colder sparks …I do not think we can squeeze much more power without bigger turbos and tranny cooler …jb4 caused my tranny light to come on several times due to the higher boost …was not fun seeing that …since I switched to ktuner no issues …wish you could change the mapping on the fly…my only want from setup …in case I find myself in a situation where no e85 …sorry for dissertation

E40 tune uploaded to K Tuner. Awaiting E monitoring kit before uploading to NSX. Definitely going to need new tires now.
Funny …I found that out quick …car spinned on me from 2 to 3

Are you getting the upgraded Turbos?
So what happened was..... 😅

The plan started with just sport DPs, then it became "well since you're already right by the turbos" which naturally went to "if you're upgrading turbos, why would you not want max performance"

@drmanny3 joked about lightening up exhaust and battery weight in the wheel thread but I suppose that's where I'm really headed at this point - you know because I saved on labor costs by doing the above mods together 🙃

Totally makes SENSE... Removing the exhaust and upgrading to a lightweight battery will save you total about 60-70lb so well worth the upgrade. Trust me you will not miss those valves...

I'm going to assume you meant valves! (Time will tell whether what I'm doing will hurt/help the value )
Now if I can just get @Walt Mitty to share the specs of those sweet HRE R101 LWs

I will ask SOS if anyone in my area - Atlanta they Trust doing the Upgraded Turbos --- If not I will see about shipping it to them for INSTALL - I will be out of the country for 2 months - So It will be a nice surprise when I get back --- If anyone know anyone in the ATlanta Metro area that they trust doing a turbo upgrade please let me know - Every tuner I knew of went out of BIZ - and EUROFED charges 335/hr to do simple things ....

FWIW, I've gotten so used to the valve less exhaust, it sounds kinda quiet and almost factory, Truly marginally louder.

Your prompt response to me in your original thread mulling which way to go pushed me over the edge, unfortunately that was the gateway to more questionable decisions.

@prestonmay3 Believe it or not, I'm probably going the dealer route - the Service Manager and I have spoken at length and he currently employs 2 NSX certified techs. They're collectively excited as apparently there's only 2 NSXs in my area with the other owner allegedly relegating it to a museum piece.

Acura (Norcross/ Duluth ) here has worked on my car two times to do the service - I had 25k Miles on mine and they said Man this is the highest mileage NSX we have seen - LOL - I thought they would bark at me for asking - I will give them a call and see if they will do it - Honestly - this would be cheaper than me buying another car I do not need - Thanks for the thought
