Something for the oil aficionado to gnaw on.....

That stuff is EXPENSIVE!

In the early years of the NSX, one owner used aircraft oil in his car. The engine blew up and he had to have it replaced.

Those of us who were around at that time still remember Eddie. For this, as well as for the time he rented a helicopter to do surveillance during a top-speed run. :)

That's why you can't get nuts on the plane anymore.

I was on a five and a half hour flight last week, in Business Class. I got a can of tomato juice and some pretzels.

That's just nuts.

Well you know what? You're nuts! I think you need to think about driving up to San Francisco, we can have lunch, you can park you car in my garage, take my car, have it detailed in Half Moon Bay (including the interior this time) and then drop it off. She need a good interior/exterior bath. Plus, check out my new bathroom remodel....

Bring your friend this time. Would like to meet her.

Reminds me of way back, when we were running stock cars at a little track in Colo. Springs.

One fellow's oil pressure was getting low. Engine was getting a little loose and nobody ran oil coolers.

His solution: fill it up with STP.

Man, the track was slick for weeks at the spot where the engine let go. Oil dry barely touched that stuff.

Are you upset because they didn't give you a can of "Mobil Jet II"?

(Sorry I am in one of those moods and just need to vent. I am in Afghanistan and just got done flying for 4 hours and get out of the airplane and it is like a blast furnace over here)
