1. I did not make a mistake getting the NSX instead of an I8.

2. This has got to be the smoothest ride I ever owned or have ever driven in and that includes a limo.

At 55 mph on a smooth section of the freeway it was like I was riding on a bubble.

3. Cabin noise is almost non existent, it sounds/feels like the car has a pulse from the engine firing.

4. No tire noise that I could hear.

5. One of the first things I noticed after being stuck in traffic (going to my first NSX meet!) was that my left leg didn't bother me.

I do not miss working a clutch or shifting one bit.

The automatic trans of the NSX is great!

6. The interior is better then anything I have owned to date, no complaints about it.

7. Brakes are fantastic! I haven't had to stand on them yet, but they scrub off the speed very smoothly and quickly.

However, they will take some getting used to.

8. The window switches are too sensitive for me, again something I will need to "get used to".

That is awesome, it is a great car. I am dying to hear a NSX with some mods. I am debating on high flow cats and exhaust, but really need to hear what it sound like in person. The simple bolt on mods will likely transform the NSX to something even more satisfying.

now that you have driven the car is there any turbo lag ,do the ceramic brakes make a sqeeky noise ,and what are you talking about when you say that the motor has a pulse and can i see a picture of the car. thank you.

No turbo lag and no squeaky brakes.

The "pulse" is my impression of what it feels like with the motor firing @ 65 mph.

I agree with all of the above. You really do need some with the car to truly appreciate its capabilities; a 20 minute test drive definitely isn't enough.

Total night and day difference over the OEM set-up. Seat-of-the-pants dyno alone indicates a significant power gain as well

For me the sound in S+ (& Track) are perfect AND enough. I would not enjoy a long ride in S+ with much more than there now. Yeah, if I was into Tracking primarily, I'd maybe want more. Mostly so it would fit in with other noise makers vs sounding too tame. But I'm not a tracker so this car is a perfect fit/blend for my assorted (and less demanding) needs. I continue to enjoy and appreciate it (especially as a retired engineer) more as I log more seat time. Once you get over trying to compare it to tradition, you understand it is just different. And really works as it should and it all makes sense. For those who have other needs, there are many other cars. So why keep picking on this one. I know of no alternative which can substitute for this 4 different and enjoyable cars in one package. So maybe there are not many who share my view. That's OK as I'm a happy owner with absolutely no regrets (other than price somewhat).

Just my personal view after ~3600 miles now.

BTW put over 250 miles on it yesterday and it was all enjoyable with no fatigue. Started at a cars & coffee gathering. Heard of a nearby sizable classics car show so went there next. Not many Asians there as expected, but boy did it get noticed buy assorted car guys. Constant questions and kudos with phones and cameras taking excessive pix. And to boot it even got an unexpected Trophy. Not bad in my book for a unplanned stop. So many said were impressed on how much better it looks in person vs pix. And from so may angles. Plus many liked how it is so different and claimed they'd prefer it over any Ferrari or Lambo or similar they've seen. When leaving there I could hardly fit my head in! Made my day for sure. And the remaining seat time of the day just made it even better. Love this car.

.and made in america....so it fit right in!

Yeah, I meant to add so many were surprised when I told them how much more American it is (and how) than they assumed/thought considering the badge. Definitely a Lot of waves and smiles as I slowly departed. And the looks it got while moving in quiet mode were priceless. You knew they were expecting a lot of sound and confused. So I eventually flicked it to S+ to ease their minds a bit. And Smiles/Grins just got bigger. Thumbs Up Day for sure!

Seems like your gains are way better than other aftermarket guys. Looking forward to seeing you guys run some 1/4 mile times!!

Thanks for the impressions. I love that Fabspeed video as well, that'd be my first mod, price not THAT bad at $1595 US for exhaust alone. I'm really considering taking the plunge.

I am happy to provide my impressions.

Here are a few more:

Don't expect to show off any of HONDA's wonderful machinery to your buddies by popping the hood!

You can't see jack of the motor or any of the "good stuff" by opening the trunk or hood.

Yeah, a couple of stamped hood release mechanisms, a square tube layout that looks like brute force incarnate, a radiator with a couple of fans, a battery (12V) some neat tubing going everywhere and some other stuff.

My latest pet peeve is the memory response for the seat is slower then my CTS-V and feels like the motor is laboring a bit or the screw is bent.

My buddy took a drone's eye view video:

I had to put gas (first time!) in the car and I thought the nozzle was stuck.

The manual mentions waiting for the pressure to equalize, but I had no idea you can't remove the nozzle until that event happens, which is a whenever.......

I started to get worried, then it just let go.

My latest hurdle is getting the voice recognition to work properly, I just need more cabin time.

I've never gotten Acura's voice recognition to work properly, in any cars that had it. My RLX Sport Hybrid was the worst for that; I think that system was simply not working. What's worse, I speak Standard American Broadcast English in my offline life, so one would think the system would understand easily.

The solution is to add Apple Carplay. I have it in my new TLX, and it is AMAZING. Hold talk button until Siri chirps, say your command, and done! for any task requiring my iPhone.

i wont lie, its easier to use carplay/android auto unless you're referring to changing the A/C or the radio station with the voice commands.

the cap-less filler systems take a little getting used to.

The NSX Specialists visit occasionally.

Let me know what you would like and I will include it for my next conversation with them.

Well, it appears the voice recognition has difficulties when it comes to the music part.

I would like to see them put out a new video of someone operating the system, specifically using a music library and list/play interaction.

All I can find is old stuff.
