A few miles North of Neptune's Net on PCH is Deer Creek Rd, which you can hook into Mulholland, Encinal Canyon Rd or Kanan and back south to PCH, the freeway, or more mountain roads. GREAT ROADS.
It goes residential and one lane early but its literally abandoned for total absolute lack of traffic in either direction. Until you hit into Mulholland or Kanan, etc.
Imagine Mt Palomar Rd but with no traffic. Uh huh! It rocks.
I'm here every other week. If you do this, let me know, I'd love to carve up the twisties behind ya.
Anyone been on Big Sycamore Canyon Rd around Pt Magu State Park? It looks meandering. Any good? I might go exploring next weekend if no one knows.

Actually there is a great place for breakfast right across PCH from Las Brisas I think it's called "The Cottage".
I have a flight out of LAX at 1:30 but I could meet up for breakfast if you guys think you might make it happen.
