Well after surviving another storm dumping between 16-30 inches in our area I decided to get rid of some cabin fever by venturing out to the opening of the Orchid Show at the Botanical Gardens. Surprisingly, TonyD was not there today so I guess I got the jump on him this time.........:tongue:

Nice shots Bob. The subject matter paints a picture in the mind of what we have been through this winter between the snow days and the signs of spring here and there.
I like the way the series of shots alternate between the black and whiteness of a dormant world and the vivid colors of bloom.

Very awesome Bob. After viewing the second group my initial comment was, "Now I got to go buy those plants!" Poor Don. Currently we have to manuever around the orange, lemon and kumquat trees to get to the kitchen table. Now I'll have to fill the window sills with orchids. Good thing they're not an expensive hobby. Ha!
