Just thought I would show you guys what I am currently working on....I am excited about this one, it is turning out good....

nsxsample1.jpg

(note:the wheels look a little skewed/distorted cause the photo was taken with my digital camera at an off angle so it wouldn't capture a glare, but rest assured they look right in person...)

And just to give an idea of how it may look when it is done, here are some of my other drawings:

I'll post it when I am done....maybe offer some posters if the interest is there...

thanks for looking

Great skills bro.
2 things....
1. I wish Acura would have made the OEM rims like that w/ the lip.
2. I had that same exhaust on my MR2 Turbo several years back. I think I might have had the first one shipped over from Japan.

Keep up the good work.

Looks awesome! I'm really looking foward to the finished drawing. Do you typically sell prints of your work?

Thanks...Just recently started offering posters of some of my drawings due to people's requests...

I'll make sure to post progress and the finished product when I am done...

wow dude, you are talented! i also love drawing.. how long does it take you to do one of those? i've worked hours on trees and sunlight shading.. bet that takes forever! good job man, keep it up

The hardest part is going to be adding the antenna!!! It would probably take too much pencil to do that though!!! That is awesome!!! You are very talented! I would love to have a print of that when completed. Would prefer the '02 headlights etc., but I love it. Those wheels are fantastic. They look like the '02+ OEMs with a huge lip. Thanks for sharing and please do make some prints. They would last about 10 seconds on this website!! Thanks

He he...that's what I modeled them after... I like the 02 NSX rims, but I love rims with dish even more....so I figured, why not combine the 2...

thanks for the compliments :)

Don't worry if the picture makes your drawing's tires look skewed, real NSXs have a good amount of camber on the rear wheels anyway... so it looks pretty accurate to me.

BTW, you are AMAZINGLY talented!

yeah that is amazing talent you have man.

You got skills....I would like a drawing of my own car done sometime in the future.

Looks nice. Nice perspectives and nice reflections in the wheels and lights. What is your background? I am a designer for Ford so just thought you might appriciate my "professional" feedback.
Here is a rendering I did back about 5 years ago when I was in school, of my car at the time, its the only example I have online.

Keep up the good work.

some nice shading so far.

judging by the perfection and equal thickness of the underlying linework, did u carbon transfer this? Keep us updated.

I had a thread a while back asking if people would buy prints of NSX work, and received very little response... guess i'll have to get the goods first then hope you all like.

There are many artworks done by Bugattiart. Step-by-step pen drawing can be seen in some threads at the http://www.ferrarichat.com under showroom. Great artist and we can learn a lot from him regarding initial drawing, shading and reflections on the car. The details are unspeakable (truly a master).

I'll see if I can produce a pen drawing of an NSX during my one month holiday this December.

Yeah....he's good....and appreciate you showing that....I definately give props where they are due (and he deserves them by all means)..... but I must say your post kind of makes me feel disrespected a little. Without any comment on what you feel of my work (which is what I was hoping for), you post about another artists work as to how great it is and suggest that "we" can take hints from him (as if something were wrong with all other artists works, including mine)...

maybe I'm taking it the wrong way and I don't mean any disrespect by this, but maybe you could have started with a compliment or constructive criticism of my work (which I am open for) instead of making the underlying tone of your post solely about how great this "other" artist is. I love to see other artists work especially from the artists themselves, but boasting about how great someone is from a third party perspective without mention of the topic at hand comes off as a little offensive to me.. especially since it is not even your work  (I don't know what ties you have with this person or reasoning about why you needed to showcase this nor do I really care).... Not trying to sound harsh, but that's how I feel....but maybe that's just an artists perspective :)

But yeah, that guy is really good....

Can you repost it...that link doesn't seem to work :)

Oops. Sorry. I didn't mean to do that. Your works are great. Much better than what I have done so far (mine always stop half way). My weakness on car drawing is the wheel. Pretty much nothjing close to what you have done. I thought since your thread is about drawing I could put up some links about another great artist as well. I hope no hard feeling. Looking forward to seeing a complete drawing.
