Does the new casing have a black ink stamped number on it? If you could post a picture that would help the KB.

As for documentation, every little bit increases the comfort level of buying your car.

The fear of an unrepairable transmission, when/if the casing goes NLA, pretty much makes the car not worth much...so it is scary.

I didn’t find any markings on the new case. Maybe there is one somewhere, but I couldn’t see it. The original number is on the part of the case that doesn’t have to be replaced.
