Smog check FAILED!

Hey... can any of you guys who cleaned out your EGR please explain how to do that? I need to try this since my car didn't pass smog, but I'm hesitant to start unbolting things without knowing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. I would be eternally grateful for any help here!

The saga continues. So I finally managed to swap out my cats for a much newer set. Haven't really broken them in yet, but took it to get tested anyway. Everything is low, but I still failed on the NOX at 25 mph. I'm thinking of taking the car to the dealership and getting 1) O2 sensors replaced and 2) having the EGR valve cleaned out. Anybody know what those two items should cost?

Heh just failed my CA smog on my 235k '92 that we pretty much did a complete engine rebuild on: engine appears to be running rich.

Changing out the Fuel Pressure Regulator and Ramon's graciously letting me borrow a low mileage set of cats to use. I'll repost if I pass.
