It has been near 32F here in MN the last week and my car has been sluggish once started and when I turn the temp control on it almost kills.
The car will almost not keep running and I have to turn temp control off - maybe AC is trying to run.
Tonight when I started it it killed and had to re-fire it up.
Never had this when it was warm.
Car has prospeed chip - sorry - not sure which version.

Any ideas if something needs replacing or cleaning?
(Sorry - have not checked for any codes)

TIA - Al

When the AC clutch engages, the IAC automatically adjusts the idle to compensate. I'm not sure how/if the Prospeed chip has any affect on the IAC but sounds like an IAC issue. You also might check for a dirty throttle body.
