Sorry for the newbie question, but I have had experience with other nsx's to answer my question. I have an 01 and its idle is a bit rough.. not bad, but you can feel it. Is that normal? I have an 01 3.2CL and its idle is so smooth that its hard to tell its running. The NSX smoothes out immediatly off idle, but at idle, you definatly feel it.

Thanks

Hey.. that sounds great. I know a great place for breakfast with an outdoor deck by a creek.. very nice. I used to meet there with my 928 buddies. It was a sight seeing 12 928's parked next to each other. I'm getting some S2000 buddies now along with an Integra type R. The more the better. Keep in touch. You can email me at [email protected]

My 1994 suffers from rough idle from 800 to 1500 RPMs. It is worse when it is cold and is better when it is warm but not perfectly smooth. Tried the "fix" listed in the FAQ (clean air inlet body) and also adjusted the engine mounts. Didn't do much (if anything) to improve the roughness. I accept it as part of the car's personality.

Thanks.

I accept it as part of the car's personality.

So much for those who claim that the NSX has no personality.

My '95 suffered from rough idle last year. The tach/rpm would oscillate and sometimes dip down so low in the rpm range that the engine almost stalls.

It took the dealer several tries to finally determine the problem. Turned out that the valves needed an adjustment. Once done, the car ran very smooth and the rough idle never came back.

Hope this helps, though your situation may be different.
