six speed flywheel

i'm looking to get a six speed tranny for my 91' and i would like to know about the flywheel is it lighter than the five speed or just totally different do they make a lightened flywheel for the six speed
any help would be nice....

Stuart, I am unaware of the flywheel weight but I was just curious, are you purchasing a new 6-speed or were you lucky enough to find a used one? I have looked around some but there aren't may to be found.

found the tranny used for $1500- he has the motor for $4500- it is a wrecked 97' the motor is the 3.2 with 25k on it.

It is different. It is a "dual mass" design. It is heavier, not lighter, than the 5-speed flywheel.
