After a brutal red eye from LA to Orlando, I am only a few hours away from picking up my new 91' NSX with 34K miles. Been a member/lurker for more than 5 years and am finally making this happen. I just did the WP/TB along with all of the other belts and on Tuesday will be changing all of the hoses.

I have a minor road trip planned today from Orlando to Miami for Christmas then up to Atlanta til Friday where I will have it shipped out from there to LA.

Here are a couple pics and will post more over the next week during my travels.

congrats, I recognize that one from the classifieds here, looks pretty cherry.

Great looking car
I am sure u can't wait to start driving to ur meet destination
Hearing the intakes suck in air as u push the pedal Down will make you forget how tired u are from ur red eye flight.
Enjoy and safe trip back

Oh yeah unlike our east coast primers u get to drive her all year long in cali

Congrats on the car. It's a shame that it's leaving Florida and heading to California.

Have a safe drive home.

Congrats. Looks nice. Wheels, exhaust and suspension already?

wow I have been there.

my first NSX drove an all nighter from tampa to SC then drove straight home.

got my 08 TL type-s in Alabama drove up drove back.

then my 2002 fly to Cali, then drove 2.5 days back home to tampa.

I have been there and done that.

congrats on the purchase,

dont do anything stupid when you get it.

my first week of ownership included a speeding ticket and 2 360's lucky i didnt hit anything but never played with her again till after about 6-7 months of " testing the waters "

godluck and more pics damn it

Great car. I exchanged messages with the previous owner because I was geniunely interested in this car. Decided to go another direction (newer)but this one was SO ENTICING.

Funny I live in FL and when I was looking almost all the cars I found were out in CA. I ended up flying up to Rhode island on the red eye to pick up my baby and drive her home. Congratulations she looks clean

Beautiful NSX - love the wheels on her. Looks like a great low-mileage purchase! Congrats and enjoy. Jay

Jonathan,
Congrats on your purchase. Have been where you are, and would do it again in a heartbeat. I got introduced to know mine really well in the 20 hour ride from Boston to St. Louis. It truly is a comfortable road car as well. I wasn't a bit tired, probably due to the fact that the adrenalin pumps every time I get behind the wheel. Best!
Warm regards,
Don

Congrats!!!

If you have a free day in Atlanta let me know. We have a few of us that drive all year. I'm not one but for you and if the weather is bearable I might break her our of her cocoon, garage.

I also second that... Take it easy until you feel comfortable with how FAST the back end can step out. On mine it's a rush to take off the traction control but it almost cost me my dream car.

yeah that rear will pull out from you and shhhhhaaaaaabbbbaaaannnngggg

then a sad face. then I buy it from you LOL

That is a real classic! nice find on such a low mileage.

Try not to rip off the chin spoiler either. Its easier than you would think, especially when the car is lowered.

Congrats on the car. I looks awsome with those wheels. I did the samething in June. N. Carolina to Ohio to Texas. Was a great shakedown drive and I learned a lot about the car. Enjoy the drive and have a safe journey. Merry Christmas.

Congrats. Nice Christmas Present!

Take LOTS of detailed pics and do a thorough
walk around before it gets on transport.
Also note the mileage.

welcome to ownership.....be prepared for extra attention on the road.

Nice car. Enjoy the holidays in your new ride. It'll bring a smile to your face every time you look at it.

thanks everyone!! I picked it up last night and drove to Miami. This car is amazing and the experience is something else. For a 20 year old car it feels brand new. Everything just feels right and well balanced. The transmission snaps into gear and the engine just wants to be revved. unlike my 350z it feels so much more stable and the engine noise is to die for. I have barly turned on the radio. lol...

Its crazy with all the stares and people stopping at lights to talk etc... Am still trying to get used to that . Overall, its everything I always thought it could be and am thrilled to have made the move to get it!

As far as mods, I am getting the JDM nav pod and a NSX-R carbon fiber spoiler and thats about it for now.

Here is a new pic. Will post more throughout my trip over the next week or so.
