Sighting: Saleen S7

I was on the way to my office near irvine spectrum, going down alton and a yellow saleen S7 twin turbo passes me in my slow toyota. I've never seen an S7 in person before, and i was never a big fan of its appearance. After seeing the car in person, it gave me a change of mind. I've seen enzo's, murcielagos, and other exotics in person, but the S7 looks the closest to a race car. Its like they took a lemans car off the track and put in on the street. Car just looks so damn mean.

I've seen a/that Saleen going north on the 405 is the South Bay area. The nice advantage of living in SoCal is nice cars are quite common.

Two days ago, I was filling up the tank at a station in Beverly Hills (Olympic & Robertson). Too much traffic to turn left so I made a right out of the station and another right at the first street and then left into the first driveway to make a three point turn. About 10 Gallardo's on one side of this parking lot, the other side was filled with Bentley's. I happen to pull ino the parking lot of the Bentley dealership.

Nope. I was in my Land Cruiser with the family on the way to Universal Studios. My wife didn't even notice them but my son did! He's 7 now but I told him he can have the NSX when he's 30. :biggrin:

I see S7's around Irvine/Lake Forest all the time. It's probably because Saleen's HQ is right there.

For a rare car I have seen the Enzo fives times now on the 405 North and South. More than likely the same car since I have only seen the red Enzo in the Orange County Area.

yea

i prefer saleen s7 over any euripean exotic....and I hate american cars! well except for Dodge viper, and Corvette!

Saleen S7's are amazing cars. My neighbor has one. He showed me the center console display which shows the view of the rear of the car from the camera. He's also got a 360 Modena Spyder, Viper GTS, Ford GT, and Porsche 911 Turbo. However, I think the S7 is the coolest.
