I'm getting ready to install Vinnie's(Marga Hills) side skirts and would like to put louvers in the intake part instead of mesh like every one I've ever seen. I'd like the louvers to match similar to the louvers on the stock intakes on the sides of the NSX. Anyone ever seen someone do this or have any ideas of how or what to use/try?? Appreciate any help!!

I've got the MH replica skirts too. Were you also planning on putting louvres to match on the front vent also? It might be easier to change the OEM vent to Zanardi style mesh in order to match.

Agreed! Changing the mesh all toghether to match the mesh on the Vinnies isnt that hard either, but getting a good grip on those 2 flower shaped nuts is. Once you have them off, its really easy.

Learned a good tip if you've never had the scoops off before - push in on the outside of the scoop approximately where each stud is & that will relieve some of the tension on the special nut - should make it a little easier to undo.
Also, if you have a short 22mm box wrench, that fits over the nut perfectly - needs to be pretty short though, we cut one to about a 3" shaft before hearing about the other tip.
