spell it anyway you want, regardless, i've got it.
over 115-120mph the front tires feel like they're way out of balance. under those speeds it feels fine. i just had the tires balanced, so i don't think that is the problem.

any ideas?

thanks!

pixelhaus,

I am thinking you had the wheels balanced off the car. Since this is relatively high speed related, I would recommend you find someone that can balance them on the car. This will include the brake rotor in the "balance".

Another simple try would be to take one wheel off and rotate it on the axle, one lug nut. Essentially reindexing it with the rotor. Since this is pretty easy, it may be worth a shot.

I recall Wei-Shen requiring this method a few years ago, if my memory serves me. HE also had a high speed shimmy.

thanks larry, boston,
i'll investigate further.
the rotors are 'brand new'. less than 1k on them.

as far a balancing on the car goes, that's new to me. i'll see if my mechanic has the capabilities.

One other thing you can do is try switching to a different set of front wheels/tires. If you have an extra set, or can get together with another owner, you can try switching the front wheels/tires. If it drives fine, you definitely have a problem with the wheels/tires; if not, it's something on the car.

Are these OEM wheels? Or are they aftermarket? If they're aftermarket, are they hubcentric, and are you using the proper shaped lug nuts?
